If you’re like most voters, you may not know what a Governor’s Councillor does.  The 8 member Governor’s Council meets weekly to confirm or deny Judicial Appointments made by the Governor.  Before serving, each and every judge is vetted and approved by the Council.  Because judges are appointed until age 70, it’s vital that your Governor’s Councillor be experienced and qualified in order to ensure that only the best nominees are appointed.
